Diocesan Medal Award to Ann Heather Nash
The Marist School awards Diocesan Medal to Former Governor Ann Heather Nash
On 2 June, we celebrated the award of the Diocesan Medal to Mrs Ann Nash, who recently retired from the Marist School Governing Body.
In 2014, and in so-called retirement, Ann became a Governor and then Chair of Governors at The Marist, Sunninghill. Her commitment to our school through very turbulent times such as Covid, has been truly incredible.
Ann always had the wellbeing of all pupils at the forefront of every decision she made as a Governor. Her very strong faith, and the values of the Marist community, clearly ran like a seam through all that she did for our school.
Canon PJ, on behalf of the Bishop of Portsmouth, and Fr David presided over the ceremony, and we were joined by members of Ann’s family, friends, and colleagues both old and new. Marist musicians and our choir provided the musical interlude to what was a wonderful service of celebration.
