Marist Friends’ Magical Christmas Fair

The Marist School community came together for a magical Christmas Fair, filled with festive cheer and community spirit. A special thanks goes to The Marist Friends for their tireless efforts in organising such a wonderful event.

The fair offered a variety of activities and attractions for all ages. Families could indulge in delicious treats at the ‘Marbucks’ stall or enjoy lunch wrapped in a giant Yorkshire pudding at the ‘Jingle Bell Cafe’ run by Harrison’s Catering.

A highlight of the event was the coveted hamper raffle, featuring nearly 30 luxurious prizes. Visitors also had the opportunity to participate in exciting games run by class parent representatives like ‘Knock Down Santa’ and browse through the numerous stalls run by guest vendors to purchase gifts ranging from scented candles, homemade jewellery and cakes to hand crafted homeware. The SVP Youth Group added to the festive atmosphere with beautiful face painting, while the bottle and chocolate tombolas, with goodies that were generously donated by Marist families, proved to be popular draws.

No Christmas Fair would be complete without a visit to Santa’s Grotto, where children received a gift and shared their festive wishes.

The school would like to express its sincere gratitude to all the staff, parents, and external vendors who contributed to the success of the Christmas Fair. Their hard work and dedication helped create an enjoyable event for the entire community.
