New Spaces. New Opportunities

A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS

We are delighted to share some exciting changes coming to The Marist in 2026. In April, our brand-new Dining Hall will open – a bright, contemporary space at the heart of school life. Designed to bring students together, it will provide a welcoming environment and an enhanced dining experience that reflects the warmth and community of The Marist.

Building on this, Summer 2026 will see the introduction of flexi and weekly boarding. Responding to parent demand, this new provision offers families greater choice and flexibility, alongside outstanding pastoral care and opportunities for students to grow academically, socially, and personally.

These developments mark a fresh chapter for The Marist, enriching school life and providing students with more ways to learn, connect and thrive.

BOARDING
A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

At The Marist, we’ve invested in creating beautiful, welcoming spaces where our boarders can feel truly at home. From Year 9 onwards, girls have the opportunity to stay on campus, surrounded by a supportive, family-style environment that encourages them to grow in independence, confidence, and curiosity.

Exceptional Support, Every Step of the Way

Students benefit from three nutritious meals a day, access to the Sixth Form kitchen, 24-hour Health Centre provision led by our qualified Nurse and Housemistress, and spiritual guidance from the School Chaplain.
Boarding is led by Resident Housemistress Miss Sophie Yeomans, with safeguarding overseen by Designated Safeguarding Lead Mr Tom Yardley. An Independent Person is also available to provide confidential support.

LIFE BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Our thoughtfully designed boarding houses combine comfort, style, and functionality, providing spaces to study, relax, and connect with friends. Evenings are filled with opportunities to explore interests, enjoy our facilities – from the Gym and Swimming Pool to the Robotics Lab – and take part in cultural and co-curricular activities.

Thrive Academically. Grow Independently

Our boarding ethos blends academic ambition with independence and a truly well-rounded education. Boarding at The Marist is more than just a place to stay; it’s a place to belong, thrive, and prepare for life beyond school.
