The Marist School celebrates another year of fantastic A Level Grades

The Marist School, Ascot celebrates another sweep of excellent A Level results, achieving 72% A* to B and a 100% pass rate, with 88% of students securing their first choice at top universities including, Birmingham, Durham, Exeter, Nottingham, Royal Veterinary College, Southampton, and York.

These results represent some impressive individual achievements, including:

Misha, Head Girl – A* A* B and A* EPQ, Theology and Religion at Durham

Connie – A A A and A* EPQ, Archaeology and Ancient Civilisations at Durham

Scarlett – A A A and A* EPQ, Politics and International Relations at Bath

Misha is over the moon with her results. Her parents reflect on the past eight years, saying, ‘Older students were great role models to Misha, and we hope she will have had the same effect as Head Girl and proud Marist student. Everything she has learnt in this great institution will stand her in good stead’.

Dani – Law at Exeter

Amelie – History at York

Charlotte – Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at Nottingham

Our students have also excelled beyond the typical three A Levels, securing 100% A*s in the Level 3 Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). The EPQ, a self-directed project which allows students to research a topic of interest beyond the curriculum, is an extremely popular extra amongst students. This year’s results maintain our success in the qualification year on year.
