On Thursday, The Marist hosted IAPS U11 Regional Netball Qualifiers with 16 schools playing for a place in National Finals.

The Marist came 2nd in their group with wins over Staines Prep, The Old Vicarage, Bishopsgate, Dame Allan’s and Ravenscourt Park which put them into the Quarter Finals.
In a thrilling game, the girls came from 4-1 down to win 5-4 against Halstead St Andrew’s to set up a Semi Final with The Study Prep.

The girls lost by just won goal to The Study who went on to win the competition and the girls finished a commendable 4th place.

Well done to all the girls who trained so hard and a huge thank you to Mrs Palmer and Rachael Palmer for all their time and effort coaching the team.

Maristine and Netball Pulse Superleague player Suzie Liverseidge came down to the see the teams and present the medals and was really impressed with the girls performance.
