Year 7 Geography Enrichment Lesson
In a Geography enrichment lesson, our Year 7 students had an amazing time exploring microclimates right here on our school grounds. Taking advantage of our expansive 55 acres of woodland, they collected valuable data while enjoying some time outdoors.
The students used exciting new equipment, including anemometers to measure wind speed, enhancing their learning experience. Now that the data has been collected, Year 7 will be learning how to present and analyse their findings after half term. It was wonderful to see everyone engaged in the fieldwork and enjoying time in the fresh air, and the session even concluded with some fun outdoor games!
A big thank you to Miss Vickers and Miss O’Gorman, as well as Georgie and Emilia from Year 12 for their support during this session.
